I was traveling with a vegan friend and had to find vegan friendly restaurants throughout the trip, which can be quite difficult in Japan. Luckily we found this cafe while visiting a friend nearby. It turned out to be a pleasant experience. We all ordered the daily meal which was delicious. I just wished the portion wasn’t this small. The atmosphere was very quiet, too quiet for me but my vegan friend loved it.

A small and cozy café in Nakanosakaue. The drinks are excellent and very affordable! They also bake their own bread. Next time, I want to try their azuki butter toast.

It was wonderful to know that the chef who is a native of Japan took a liking to Yoga and Indian cuisine and brought back the delicious foods from his visits to Mysore, to a cafe in Tokyo. The food and service was excellent. Also ideal for vegan / vegetarian + gluten free.

Very cute little cafe located near station. the vibe immediately takes you back to memories from Mysore with little pieces of memorabilia like cookbooks and pictures. The owner has been to Mysore multiple times and the taste of good old satvik food reflects on every plate. The options although limited but are good. The curry tasted very different than usual sambar in the lemon rice and tomato rice sets ordered by us, so it's a little different than traditional Mysore sambar. The spices are very subtle and not over the top which let's you savour the actual flavour of the food. Coffee was really good and flavourful as well. I wish they had more vegetarian options especially the iconic Mysore masala dosa! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good and simple Indian meals in the area.

I really loved this place.. Owner was the chef and he is really friendly and he told about the story he went to Mysuru is the place located in Karnataka state India. And very impressive by his love and interest towards Indian culture and food. Food was really great. The thing is we need to call and request for food plates one day prior if we are visiting in a group. I love to visit once again!

This cafe is very special. The food is not only authentic, but incredibly tasty as well. I’ve been to South India many times and their food does wonderful homage to the true South India cuisine. The atmosphere and service in the cafe is very sattvic, meaning very loving and attentive. A truly wonderful experience overall…!
